It is very well made and solid. If you are fitting it to a door that is not absolutely flat (my door is and old oak door) it took a little bit of fidling to get the preload of the foam right so it opened and shut ok but that is the fault of my door not the product but just something to consider if fitting to and old door. The only reason I have given 4 stars rather than 5 is that for me it would have bene useful if the opening was slightly bigger as it is a little smaller that the cut out in my door. For future enhancement having a brown colour option would be good for older wooden doors.Overal and excellent quality products that I would definitely recommend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars No more drafts *by S***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 September 2018* For ages there was always a slight draft in the hall and even with the radiator going there was the draft until idiot me realised that the front door letter box was THE problem. I searched on Amazon for help and the help came in the name of Magflap. I bought two for each side of the front door and believe me when I say Magflap works. There's foam around the part that is next to the door, that foam insulates the letter box gap. I have to get another as delivery people tends to stick bulky items in through the letter box and doesn't ring the doorbell instead. The Magflap for the external side is broken due to these bulky items and this is why I need to replace. Apart from that I give Magflap A* A* A* A* A* an EXCELLENT product. ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars Hinge broke when fitting it to door. *by M***W on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 April 2021* Overall, this looks like a very good product. However, whilst fitting it to the door, it suddenly came apart. At that point I noticed that one of the plastic bars that attach to the hinges had snapped off. Not really sure how it happened as I was following the instructions, but in any case I was left with an expensive letter box cover that was now useless. Not wanting to be out of pocket, I ended up drilling a hole in what was left of the hinge and threaded a nail through to form a make shift hinge. It 'kind of' works and I was able to attached it to the door.
