Review: Wonderful, but not designed for cold weather - Agreeing w most of what was said in another review: It’s big and seems well made - the front porch portion has to really be staked out correctly THIS IS NOT A GOOD TENT FOR COLD WEATHER. The roof is open even with the top cover over it - the gap between the cover and all screen roof is large so heat doesn’t stay trapped in. We really suffered in 40 degree weather in a really high end winter sleeping bag. Setup is probably the best part. I could put this thing up alone in 5 minutes… but taking it down to store can be tricky - I imagine we’ll learn and remember how the best way to do this is after more uses.

**Q: How does this tent fare in heavy rain?**
A: We didn't experienced heavy rain, but we did have light rain and some heavy sustained wind.  The tent had no leaks and held up in steady winds of 20mph with gusts up to 40mph way better than I would have thought.  Hope that helps!

**Q: Measurements of the extra room?**
A: Main tent is 14x8, private room is 8 wide by 6 deep

**Q: How much head room?  What is the height?**
A: 76 inches at the peak (about 6'3") so if you're a taller guy you're probably going to duck to get in and not have a lot of head room when standing.

I ABSOLUTELY love my tent!! My friends and I love outdoor BBQ's and taking daycations. This Memorial Day we got caught in a torrential rain storm in the back yard and this tent held up it's end of the deal!! Although the awning puddled with rain and we had to keep dumping it off, the inside stayed dry and kept its shape even without being completely anchored in the ground! This tent can hold 3 full to queen sized air mattresses and when not being used for sleep, we can comfortably put 6-8 lawn chairs, a fold out lawn table as well as a 2 coolers. I have a couple of friends who are not the avg weight or height and they too were very comfortable sittingnand standing!! What a great buy! We are purchasing another one and planning to accessorize with cool mist fans, solar spot lights, a small generator, tiki lights and light strings! Bring it on Summer!
