We struggled to work out the mix of detergents supplied with the machine. The names on the bottles didn't seem to match the description in the handbook or on-line. The instructions about how to use the machine are a little meagre and we watched a YouTube video before we started. In practice it's easy to use once you understand the stages you need to go through - spray patch of carpet - leave for 5 minutes - brush in - pull the liquid out again - all with one attachment. How effective is it? On new stains, it has done a great job. On older stains, not so good - but that, I think, is to be expected.
