GHIRARDELLI HERITAGE, SINCE 1852 In 1849, during the California Gold Rush, Italian-born Domingo Ghirardelli moved to America and opened a store in a mining camp. After discovering the miners were starved for luxuries and needed something to spend their gold dust on, he started stocking chocolate delicacies. In 1852, the enterprising immigrant founded a confectionery shop in San Francisco, which eventually became the modern-day Ghirardelli Chocolate Company. Review: Favorite option for sweetening iced coffee - We’ve been using this to make iced coffee for about a year now, and we can’t go without it! It provides the perfect amount of sweetness/flavor without being overpowering like a lot of syrups can be. We mix it into hot expresso, top it with ice and then milk.

A: No beans, a ground white chocolate.

**Q: Does this have coffee/caffeine in it?**
A: Not only does this not contain coffee or caffeine, it doesn't even contain white chocolate.  The first two ingredients listed are sugar and coffee creamer.  I kid you not.

**Q: Is this gluten free?**
A: Well, it doesn't state that it's gluten free, but there's nothing in the ingredients that would suggest it has any gluten. And normally found in cereals, gluten is used to adhere. Nothing suggests that in this product.

**Q: What color is it?**
A: The powder inside is an off-white, like a white chocolate. It’s a fine ground powder.

This makes my coffee so creamy I love the flavor. You can use it in coffees, for protein shakes and anything you can be creative with. The little spoon that comes with it makes it so much easier ! The spoon is definitely a good sturdy spoon too you can definitely reuse for other things! Great value for it's price I will be buying again !
