Review: Best gardening gloves ever! - I wanted some heavy duty gardening gloves as we were 'hardcore' gardening, i.e. pulling out huge 20-30ft long brambles from our hedge! These were the most expensive gloves I've ever bought (I bought a pair for myself and a pair for my husband) but we had gone through several pairs of cheap ones. These have done us proud... we have cut down huge thorny bushes and pulled out huge brambles and not one thorn has gone through! They were quite snug to begin with but they have 'given' a little and softened up and are now a perfect fit. The only thing I would say is that when they get wet they still make your hands cold, so if you are doing more gardening in winter I would recommend the thermal ones. All in all a very good glove for some very tough gardening jobs and well worth paying the extra money. Probably a bit overkill if you're just weeding!

These gloves are extremely good for pulling out tough weeds particularly brambles and nettles and they were particularly useful when digging a new bed, spreading compost and picking up lots of leaves. The long cuffs give good protection and they are pretty waterproof too. For Autumn and Winter wear I don't think they can be bettered for protection and warmth in the garden. Well worth the price.

Soft, comfortable and strong. Can grab all the thorns and nettles and prickly plants. Have not come across any other this good. Try and keep them on the dry side though as they can go hard like shamis leather if very wet a lot but still fantastic. Would buy and recommend again and again.
