It came in a flat package rather than a box, with 4 double ended screws. I noticed a minor dent on one corner but that looks like it could be a manufacturing error rather than delivery issue, even so, it's barely noticeable and for the money it is totally worth it. No tools needed, just need to screw the screw into the table a tiny bit, then use the legs to *slowly* screws in the leg while applying firm pressure, then you can speed up. Very sturdy and not wonky though not tested the weight properly, the legs feel cheap, but then it's only meant to be a coffee table, I think the page says 25kgs which is about the same as my TV table.
