**Q: What size of drill bits did you use to predrill the hardwood? Manual suggests 1/8'' but I think it's too thin for the provided screws.**

Thank you for your interest! 1/8" or 3mm drill bits are what we recommend. The main purpose of the pre-drilled hole is to poke a hole in the laminate. That will allow the screw to go in more easily.
