Purchased this for my 6 year old grandson. He loves trains and he loves this one. It was ease to assemble. The quality is great. It's also very nice 👌🏾.

Wonderful addition to our Christmas Tree
I'll admit, I was a bit apprehensive about purchasing this after reading some of the online reviews but I took a chance and I'm really glad I did!Nice size train with plenty of track to easily circle even the largest of trees. The track easily snapped together and even was high enough to allow the power cord to easily pass beneath to power the lights on the tree. We have been running this for a while now using rechargeable batteries so it's very cost effective.Positives:SizeEase of setup and operationLife-like locomotive soundsForward/Reverse speed control, train bell and train announcement via wireless remoteNegatives:All plastic constructionCan be difficult placing cars on tracks and connecting cars togetherThe sound - No way to lower the volume of the locomotive and over time the sound can be annoyingThe announcement is a bit difficult to understand "something something....... the North Pole" is about all we can understand.In general this train was probably one of the better add-ons I've purchased for the holidays. It just goes to prove, that not all negative reviews mean something isn't worth while!I would definitely purchase this again,and recommend it to a friend for purchase.

Easy to set up and does the job required for under the tree ambience!
Easy to set up and does the job! When I was a kid trains were expensive and dangerous for kids as the trasnformer connecting to an electric outlet and the tracks had a charge on them! This train runs on batterys o not electric shocks from toughing the tracks (which are plastic on this) The best part was getting this at half price for Black Friday!

it dies so fast! so much for 6 massive batteries
me and my son were playing with it for not even 5 minutes and then it died so i put new batteries in but 5 minutes later it died. DONT BUY THIS.
