Review: A Pretty Little Loud Alarm Clock - What a nice little alarm clock! Exactly what I was looking for. It has a very loud ring that's great to wake me up in the morning. It's very aesthetically pleasing and a great addition to my bedroom. It's a good compact size and even has a backlight which I've found useful to check what time my alarm is set to when I wake up earlier than expected. Does exactly what it's supposed to do when it's supposed to do it. I highly recommend it.
Review: Good ,beautiful and loud - It's beautiful and loud.....but The clock knob is a little flimsy though and you do have to manually switch the alarm to off and then on again at night because doesn't have am/pm function or snooze. Idk if that's normal with these types of clocks though but it's hopefully gonna get the job done for my teen if she remembers to reset the alarm every night.

**Q: Is it hard to set the alarm every night? How do you set it?**
A: as a clock dial, the calibrations indicate one minute per scale. However as an alarm dial, the calibrations indicate 12 minutes per scale. Since it quartz alarm clock, not digital alarm clock, the alarm will goes off nearly the time you set.

**Q: How long does the ringing last?**
A: LOL! Until the dead are awake! Seriously it keeps ringing... I think it might stop after a minute  because it will be past the alarm time. It's so obnoxiously loud that I don't wait that long to find out. ;)

**Q: Does the hammer actually strike the bells?**
A: Yes,  When the alarm goes off, the hammer will strike the bells.

**Q: How do I set the alarm at 2: 00 AM?**
A: If you mean set the alarm for two am, then all you have to do is line up the alarm hand to the 2 on the clock face and switch the alarm on, (with a small switch on the back of the clock), at any time after two pm the previous day.  If you do not wait until after two pm, it will just go off at two pm.  If you mean actually setting the alarm at two am, as in fiddling with the clock in the middle of the night, then you might want a different clock, because the backlight only works if you hold the button down, making operating it difficult.  If you wake up at the same time every day, however, then all you would need to do is flip the switch, which would be easy to do, even without light.  I never had any trouble setting it, and like the clock, just bear in mind that you can only set it for up to a little under twelve hours away.  I hope this helps.

I’m nearly 30, and I’ve spent the better part of my life on an endless hunt for an alarm clock that could actually wake me up. I’ve tried everything: the Sonic Bomb, custom speaker setups loud enough for the neighbors to hear, and every high-intensity tone I could find on Zedge. Most of those failed me, and I was beginning to think I was impossible to wake. ​Enter the Peakeep. This thing is the real deal, hitting at 110 Hz it's loud and annoying and will rattle any surface you put it on. It’s incredibly simple—just two modes (On/Off)—and while the alarm hand can be a little finicky when you're setting it, once you get it dialed in, it's rock solid and hard to mess up. ​My best advice? Keep it on a dresser away from the bed. That way, you have to physically get up to turn it off, which kills any urge to hit snooze and fall back asleep. It’s the only clock that has actually gotten me up in the morning without fail. If you’ve been struggling with this as long as I have, save yourself the frustration and just get this one.
