I didn't notice any appreciable increase in rolling resistance due to the puncture protection. The tyres have a reflective strip on the side-wall, which will aid visability at night. They are a so and so to get on (particularly) and off. I use a bit of baler band (polyprop twine ) tied tightly at the first bit on, and then lever them in - use steel levers. But research installation before fitting. *by D***O on 21 March 2025* Excellent quality tyres. We are leisure cyclists and the anti puncture protection and build quality inspires a great deal of confidence and are perfect for us. However, the tyres are not easy to fit due to the wire inlay. The tyres won't stretch during installation. There are some very good YouTube videos available for reference. I strongly recommend using cable ties or a buckle strap to secure the tyre during installation so that it doesn't keep popping out of the wheel rim.
