Review: If you change your own oil, you need this. - I have always carried out my own oil changes. However, after using various containers to drain the oil into which always resulted in some sort of spill I decided to purchase this item. Am now kicking myself that I never did so in the past. Now, as it’s large enough, no mess and easy to empty waste oil into a suitable container, usually the old one the new oil actually came in. Basically very sturdy and easy to use. Only one tiny issue, the drain spout is angled downwards, this results in drips after its emptied. Just pop an old bit of rag in after use. Anyway, that’s a tiny issue. If you regularly change oil, you need this.
