Review: Great carpet washer - Purchased this to clean a relatives carpet. It was on sale at the time and seemed to be a no brainer. It does a great job of cleaning with the included solutions. Admittedly they don’t have much of a scent despite supposedly being fragranced, so I wouldn’t hope for a lovely smelling room after using it, but it did clean up a lot of dark patches on a grey carpet very well. It’s good quality and a good size, very portable, but slightly on the heavier side. My relative is elderly and I wouldn’t let her use this herself as it required quite a bit of elbow grease. One disadvantage is that the vacuum part of it is pretty poor, so don’t expect your carpet to be anywhere near dry after using this. It took about 24 hours for the carpet to dry out, probably didn’t help that the underlay got wet too and kept it moist. Because it stays wet for a while, it darkens the carpet while it’s wet and it might still look dirty, but after it dries, it does appear to have done a great job. It’s not the sort of thing that we’ll be using too often, but it’s handy to have in the house and it works well. Review: Works great dries fast - Works great if you put in the time to do it right , Lots of extras were added that I still have to test out, and the carpet was dry in a few hours, I also use carpet cleaner foam before hand to make a start, then used the Vax as my carpet was in a mess before i started ,It was going to be 50 euro to get it cleaned professionally and its not really any better than what you can do yourself with the Vax, it will even pay for its self in time and i get to have a nice workout ,very happy. ## Features - THE MUST HAVE CLEANING COMPANION WITH SPINSCRUB HAND TOOL - Vax SpotWash Home Pet-Design is designed for a deep clean for homes with pets, with specialised tools so you can remove messes around the home and car with ease, while the included SpinScrub Hand Tool has automatic rotating bristles to effectively remove dirt from carpets, upholstery, sofas and rugs - ADVANCED HOME AND PET TOOLKIT – Includes multiple tools to remove spills and stains from carpets and hard floor around your home and Pet Stain and Odour Neutralising Solution to break up tougher and smellier messes - ANTIBACTERIAL CLEANING WITH ANTIMICROBIAL PROTECTION – Included solution removes over 99 Percent of bacteria* while tools are coated in an antimicrobial treatment, protecting against the growth of bacteria on all attachments - PORTABLE AND COMPACT SPOT CLEANER - Slim handheld design with 1.4m long reach hose allows you to clean stairs or your car interior then conveniently store in a small cupboard, ready for next time - INCLUDED SOLUTION AND 2 YEAR GUARANTEE - Get to cleaning right away with included SpotWash Spot Cleaning Antibacterial Solution, Pet Stain and Odour Remover and 2 year guarantee for extra peace of mind, contact our award winning after-sales support team on 0330 026 8455 - WHAT'S IN THE BOX - VAX SpotWash Home Pet-Design Spot Cleaner, SpinScrub Hand Tool, Extra Wide 2-in-1 Wash Tool with Carpet and upholstery cleaning attachment and Hard Floor Cleaning Attachment, Messy Clean Up Tool with Carpet Cleaning Attachment, Crevice Tool, 250ml VAX SpotWash Spot Cleaning Antibacterial Solution, 250ml VAX Pet Stain & Odour Remover, Accessory Bag ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0BFHS794X | | Best Sellers Rank | #131,120 in Health ( See Top 100 in Health ) #88 in Household Carpet Spot Cleaning Sprays | | Brand | Vax | | Brand Name | Vax | | Capacity | 1.1 liters | | Color | Grey, White and Teal | | Colour | Grey, White and Teal | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 1,811 Reviews | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 24.1D x 35.8W x 33.8H centimeters | | Item Highlight | Multi-surface carpet cleaner machine for everyday stains, ideal for pet messes, included tools & solutions, 4.5kg, 1.1L | | Item Type Name | Spot Cleaner | | Item Weight | 4.5 Kilograms | | Item weight | 4.5 Kilograms | | Manufacturer | Vax | | Model Name | SpotWash Home Pet-Design | | Model Number | CDSW–MPXA | | Model name | SpotWash Home Pet-Design | | Number of Items | 1 | | Part Number | CDSW–MPXA | | Power Source | Corded Electric | | Product dimensions | 24.1D x 35.8W x 33.8H centimeters | | Style | With Pet Tools | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Vax - **Colour:** Grey, White and Teal - **Item weight:** 4.5 Kilograms - **Product dimensions:** 24.1D x 35.8W x 33.8H centimeters - **Style:** With Pet Tools ## Images ![Vax Spotwash Home Pet-Design Upholstery & Carpet Spot Cleaner CDSW-MPXA - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71DFQoJ2imL.jpg) ![Vax Spotwash Home Pet-Design Upholstery & Carpet Spot Cleaner CDSW-MPXA - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81rGe7McM2L.jpg) ![Vax Spotwash Home Pet-Design Upholstery & Carpet Spot Cleaner CDSW-MPXA - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81U75KfGduL.jpg) ![Vax Spotwash Home Pet-Design Upholstery & Carpet Spot Cleaner CDSW-MPXA - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81VPokbdaQL.jpg) ![Vax Spotwash Home Pet-Design Upholstery & Carpet Spot Cleaner CDSW-MPXA - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/8117CvcJGrL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Style** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great carpet washer *by A***Z on 29 August 2025* Purchased this to clean a relatives carpet.
