**Q: Is this a newly designed set for 2020?  Previous reviews (2019) were rather negative regarding quality.**
A: Don't know.  However, our 6-year-old grandson has both the Polar Express and:   the "Lionel Pennsylvania Flyer Battery-powered Model Train Set Ready to Play w/ Remote," which has the same features and quality, however the latter is more playable because of the flatcar.

**Q: would these look OK with a G gauge train?**
A: Yes indeed..

**Q: Does the little boy have a have a ticket in his hands ? Does it come with one for him ?**
A: No he doesn’t. Honestly this set wasn’t that great. The faces weren’t done too great

**Q: Is there any way for these figures to ride on the Lionel Polar Express train?**
A: Not really.  these are meant to be on the scenery.

Tested and working perfectly, see pictures. They both look great and I can't see or find anything wrong with them. Not a 2 pack as advertised. I had to buy two separately.
