The color ribbon last a lot longer than I expected. The images are clear and the color looks great. 100% happy with the printer itself. The software is another story.Bogno Bronze Software comes with printer. The software I received with the printer when I bought it was called something different, it was renamed Bogno when it updated earlier this year. Creating a card template is very intuitive and easy. The templates are actually quite good but I created my own for our company. Each template can include the front and back.Some of the weird things that happen in Bogno: - When adding a photo for an ID pic the image will not save the first time. It will work only after selecting the same image once more. - When opening or printing a card the next person in the database's photo will pop up asking for you to verify that it is correct. It doesn't make any sense why this would happen. - The first image of the first card in a template database will pop up for verification when opening a template. - Our software key USB dongle, that comes with this package, stopped working in Windows 10 (which is most likely a window problem, not a USB dongle problem) and causes registration issues. When the USB dongle stops working the software is supposed to go online and verify registration but half the time that doesn't work. You then have to manually click the verify registration online button to make it work. I wish the quality was better but overall its okay. The big problem is now our printer will not power on. I called HID for technical support only to find out they could not assist me because I'm in the US and Bodno sold me a UK model. I tried contacting Bodno for hours and received no answer from phone calls or through the chat portal on the website. I have now sent an email, fingers crossed.Bodno called me back. They wanted me to follow a few troubleshooting steps. Voila! It's back on. Apparently the printer does not like being plugged into a surge protector. Plugging it directly into the wall worked. I'm glad my printer is working but I am still confused... How can it be made in China, assembled in Texas, sold only in the UK (but actually sold to me in the USA), and not be serviceable in the USA?
