**Q: I see there’s a 10” and 8” versions. Which would I need for a half height gate?**
A: I used the 8 inch for my half height gate, it works fine.

**Q: gate closure springs little pegs flying all over the place has anyone got a remedy plse**
A: I had that problem, drilled the holes out so the pins fit better. Don't over tension the spring as opening the door/gate adds tension to the spring

**Q: I didn’t get any screws with this item?**
A: I bought this for my front gate and the screws were provided, maybe send an email and they will give you some advice.

**Q: Can spare retainer pins be purchased?**
A: I don't know if you can buy retainer pins. In the past I have made my own pins by cutting a suitably sized round nail with a hacksaw
