**Q: My wife struggles pulling open our magnetic catches. Are these hard to pull?**
A: You do have to pull with more than usual force as these latches prevent items inside a cabinet or closet from forcing the door open while underway.  I don't think they are "hard" to open, just takes more pull than a cabinet that isn't in a camp trailer.

**Q: What are dimensions each individual piece?**
A: If you look under "product description" you'll see a section called "Catch and Keeper Specifications" and there is a picture in there with accurate dimensions

**Q: Are these the same as JR Products part number 70435?**
A: It isn’t the exact replacement but the worked for me. If you don’t know what to look for you won’t know the difference.

**Q: if i put two of these on one door, will that double the door catchers from 5 to 10lbs?**
A: Yes, it will take about 10lbs of force to open if you use two of these.  The forces must balance in equal and opposite directions.  So 10lbs resistance can be overcome by 10lbs force pulling the door open.  There are a few nuances depending on the location of the handle relative to the two latches, and dynamics as one latch lets go before another, but those are minor effects.

These latches work great—until they don't. Anyone who owns an RV with this type of latch knows that they occasionally break and need to be replaced. Even if you only need one at the moment you're better off buying them at least four at a time, because eventually you'll use them all—at least the catch portion. I've yet to see one of the keepers break. (The keeper is the tongue portion that fits into and is held in place by the spring-loaded catch.) If you're adding latches to a door or drawer that doesn't already have any, do yourself a favor and pick a different, more durable style.
