I decided to stick with the Maxpedition tac ties as these are tool-free and look like there's nothing to break on them. I used one from this 4-pack to attach a Roly-Poly mini dump pouch to my "Ultimate Dad Bag" Versipack It's a bit fiddle but works well... It's worth checking out the Youtube video which shows the least fiddly way of using these.
