Review: Truely Effective - I am now a believer - UPDATE: 22 June 2019 - It has been 4 weeks that the balls have been up. Yellow fly Swanson is pretty much over but in the last 4 weeks the amount of flys seemed to reduce dramatically after I installed the bug balls. Updated photos were added and you can see how many of the little son of a guns that got. Almost all the insects stuck to the bug balls are yellow flys. The bug balls are still sticky so I'm going to leave them up just in case there are a few yellow flys still out there. --------- Original review: Yellow fly season has just startred in South Alabama. I purchased this kit based on other reviews. I am a believer. These pictures are less than 24 hours after installing these devices. There are approximately 3 dozen yellow flies already stuck. Time will tell if this product reduces these annoyance of these pests, but 3 dozen less is a good start.

I was really hoping this would work. We caught one regular fly and one yellow fly in the many many weeks we’ve had it up however the yellow flies are still biting us. I have them both hanging from Shepherd’s hooks. I have reapplied the adhesive several times. I contacted the manufacturer and they offered to send me out a blue bug ball, but it has not attracted the yellow flies any more than the black one did. They’re still biting me!!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for flies & mosquitoes

These works very well...but work best if put up at start of the insect hatching cycle. We waited to get these until later in the season after trying other solutions. Best to start early with these and keep them coated with the sticky goo. Spray goo is easier to apply, but the brush on goo usually leaves a thicker coating. We washed up with dish soap at the end of the season so we could store the bugballs "cleanly" and be ready for the next season.
