## Description

The dB45 is a class AB 4 channel high power amplifier with 3,200 watts peak output, 1,600 watts RMS output, and 800 watts CEA-2006 rated power. Here at Rockville we offer the best value in car audio. We therefore want to make it easy for you to compare our products to any brands on the market. So we provided 3 ratings for all of our car amplifiers. We provided a CEA compliant rating, which you should use to compare this amplifier to other premium brands that make CEA compliant products such as Kicker, Rockford Fosgate, Kenwood, Pioneer, etc. We also supplied an RMS rating that is not CEA compliant, but has become standard in the industry. You should use this rating when comparing with ratings from brands such as Hifonics, Earthquake, DB Drive, etc. Lastly, we also supply a peak rating which almost all brands in the industry provide. Review: Solid performance, awesome budget amplifier! - DB 45 is an awesome budget amp! Replaced a couple Boss amps that I didn’t do my research on first (amplifier benchmarking) and I spent less money on this and then I did for the other two. Rocksolid amplifier. It does warm up pretty quick when you’re pushing it but it did not get hot. Very happy with the purchase. Only problem I have is that when using the low pass option for a sub there is no sub sonic filter. At least not adjustable, I was playing 19 hz tone to my sub and it was flopping pretty good with no audible sound. Was hoping it would have sub sonic filter set for either 15 Hz or 25 as an option. Update 8/9/2019: I've had this amplifier now for around 10 months now and it's still going strong. Have it hooked up through a pair of 50amp AC to DC power supplies in my garage powering 2x 400w RMS Floor Speakers and a 425w RMS Polk Audio 15" Sub. It definitely pushes out the rated power (as dyno benchmarks have also confirmed they hit around the rated CEA RMS power as stated). Extremely loud and clear music (my neighbors can affirm this too... ). I have a couple other car amplifier / custom sub installs in my house where I still have poorly rated amps and I'm looking forward to purchasing more Rockville products to replace those amplifiers very soon. They will not disappoint!

**Q: Are these 0gauge inputs or 4gaude?**
A: 4 I believe, 4 fit perfect in my sons car.

**Q: With this 5 channel amp , can I hook up my highs , tweeters & subwoofers at the same time?**
A: That's the whole point of a five channel amp.

**Q: Would this amp be good for 6 speakers i wanna use it for highs**
A: This amp is terrific for miss and highs being a class A/B amp, however your gonna be a channel short but I'm sure there is a wiring diagram through crutchfield you could use to figure something out

**Q: Would this amp power 4 6x8s and 1 sub??**
A: I would recommend getting a separate amp for the subwoofer. this amplifier runs hot if you push it at two ohm's. So depending on what kind of rms wattage is needed for the speakers that you are getting it might not work for you. I was running Infinity 6x9s and infinity six and a half with the 4 ohm subwoofer a Rockford fosgate r1. The subwoofers rated at 150 watt RMS and I had no problems with it but I upgraded to a Rockville dual 4 ohm subwoofer running at 2 ohms recommended at 600 w RMS and I cannot power the amp more than halfway on the game without it going into protection mode mode because of overheating. If you decide to bridge your 6x9. This amplifier will not work for you this is why I recommend getting a separate four channel Rockville amplifier. For the 6x9s and a separate Rockville amp for the subwoofer. The amp is a good amp for the price it depends on what kind of sound you are looking for and how loud. I would only recommend using this app in a 4-ohm application not bridged and not any kind of two ohm application

Worth the price. Used amplifiers in the 90's and been out of the car audio world for quite a while. I ended up buying a sound stream amp because they were all the rage in the 90's only to find they are not so good now. It was blown anyways on a channel from the start. So went looking for an alternative that was as advertised. This comes with a dyno sheet from the actual test for the individual amp. I just have it hooked up as a 4 channel amp so can't say much on running it for a sub. It works great for what I use it for but is quite large. It doesn't really fit under the front seat but that's where it is.
