That's why I think the price is now convenient because you're buying old generation speakers but that doesn't mean it's a bad product, on the contrary. I haven't found many serious and technical reviews of this specific model because people immediately choose the higher models with more woofers and 3-way crossovers. I'll tell you one thing, trust your ears... . I have many years of experience in the hi-fi and hi-end listening sector and I have had many loudspeakers, even very expensive ones. I'll tell you what I think. First, check that the front grille is placed in the correct position because the front grilles of my speakers were placed backwards. This way the plywood crosspiece partially covers the tweeter... so check the positioning. Luckily I didn't buy the bigger speakers because the bass reproduction here is present and pronounced, a bit soft and "long" but it also depends on the amplification source and pre. The midrange is fabulous and the tweeters do an excellent job of allowing for detail but without screaming and hurting your ears. It's a soft, round sound that could be enhanced by using crisp electronics and generous amounts of current. The soundstage is beautiful and consistent with the audio recordings. Keep the speakers away from the wall at least 12 inches (30 cm) and you will see how great it will be to listen to music. I think these speakers are better than the old Tesi series from Indiana Line and I think it's a really great product for listening to music. No high end claims but I can't complain, I really like these speakers which are well made Small note for the metal tips that have a not too thin tip and are also suitable for wooden floors, but use a tip pad because I think it's a great idea. And was a great price for the pair. Now over priced in my opinion And they sound really good. They do sound good. I just wish they would stay at their lower price and not keep jumping up.
