Assembly was easy with the user only needing to literally screw the base of the planter onto the bowl with no tools required. That took three minutes for both planters and no hiccups. I chose these planters not only for the style, but also because they are made of plastic and I am an upper extremity amputee that isn’t able to handle heavy objects with just one arm. These planters are light and easy to carry, slide, and handle when planting or placing a plant. These are made of plastic, but it isn’t noticeable. This product comes in 7 different colors. I chose the Brushed Copper for an antique look. The antique coloring is done well with no areas missed or noticeable flea bites. The design molded into the urn is distinct and fits the style. The mold is smooth & clean and I found no plastic frays around the edges. The planter is 16”x18” and the measurements were accurate. The opening’s width is appropriate compared to the overall size, but if you’re planting real plants in these, be prepared to drill a drain hole because it doesn’t have a precut hole for water drainage. They’ve been sitting outside in the Texas heat and sun, yet they still look just as good as the day we bought them.
