I suggest removing the tube from the pump and putting you finger on and off the air outlet to test the pump. **Q: Is this used on cake decorating?** A: You can use the AirPen Color Dispenser for cake decorating, but the tips for the AirPen Piping Dispenser would probably be more useful. The AirPen Piping Dispenser is sold on Amazon. **Q: can the silkpaint air pen be used for frosting?
