It held up well, but it definitely frays if cut. My suggestion to work around that is to overlap, buy the correct size dimensions for what you need it for. It allows water to come through with no issues of it pooling on the actually fabric, I had pooling issues on certain ends of my garden but that was not due to this fabric. It help keep weeds at bay so instead of having to hand weed 100% of my garden, I only weeded about 10% and only a few times this season.
