This cleaner does a great job of removing my makeup without drying my skin. In fact, it’s quite moisturizing. It reminds me of the cold cream that my grandma used to use to remove her makeup with, but more moisturizing. I found the scent to be pleasant. The balm didn’t irritate my skin and application was pretty easy. It says it can be used AM and PM, but for me I find the best fit to be used in the PM as part of a gentle makeup removal. This way the balm can set it and do some magic moisturizing overnight without a layer of makeup on top. The next morning my skin is soft and moisturized, but not oily. I gave this four out of five stars because I had to use a bit more than the recommended dime size amount and at this price point, that cuts a lot into the value.
