I bought this to use for one pot meals and boiling the kettle while my kitchen is renovated. Unfortunately it takes nearly 7 minutes to heat (not even boil!) enough water for a mug of black coffee. Also being a solid hotplate it takes a long time to cool down. Doesn't get hot enough to build up pressure in a pressure cooker either. Good for simmering though. Not easy to recommend. I'm trying an Amazon Basics induction hob next.

The knob was loose and wobbling, returned.  Had expected a robust , heavy weight product as it was commercial, I did not think it generally felt robust.
