My first one needed new brushes after 7 years before the bearings went after 11 years, this was with a few hours use each week grinding dusty materials. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The guard is fiddly to remove and refit *by D***. on 19 December 2020* The tool was bought to cut back some brick work, which it did quickly and easily with a Bosch diamond cutting disk (Bosch Professional 2608602191). I certainly don't doubt the ability of this device to cut or grind materials. It certainly seems to pack some power, much more so than bargain basement grinders I've used in the past. This grinder was much heavier than I expected. It would have been nice if it had a variable speed control. I wanted to pack it back into the box after I had used it as I don't expect to be using it again for a while. I couldn't get the guard removed and found it quite fiddly to put on originally.
