There is also a chapter at the end which is a must-read for those who need to understand why it happened. This section is much more detailed than the film and charts all the contributory errors leading up to the explosion of the oxygen tank. His seemingly effortless progression from brilliant boyhood to outstanding astronaut left me a little unsatisfied.
