It's a little bit more expensive than fountain pens I've previously owned but feels like a very good quality implement for what is still a very reasonable price. It's comfortable to hold, writes very smoothly and feels like it's built to last. I love the transparent finish too, although since I've opted to use a converter rather than cartridges and the Z28 one I need for this model is bright red and shows clearly through the transparent barrel, I feel that only certain colours of ink would work without clashing!
