The locks are all very cool to see in the transparent shells, the rubber sleeves add an extra layer of difficulty, though it didn't take me long to realise it's really all about the feel of the feedback, but being able to see really helps work out the feel of where to position the picks. There is a basic guide, and was emailed video links for more. I've had fun playing around with this, though I did it so long on the first day my wrists started to ache! Would make a great gift. Review: A blast to play with! Could be improved. - Locks fine and pick set is decent for the money. BUT the newer cross lock cannot be picked with these picks. Also, only most rudimentary instructions for padlock (and none for others - if you know much about locks it’s all about the same). Doesn’t tell you if you pick one of the harder ones it will lock up mid way and then not accept the key (so pick fast all the way around or be prepared to pick to unlock). It’s is what it is. I’m still glad I bought it and enjoy messing with it.
