Review: Just WOW! - I’m relatively new to honey and have never been overly excited by it, but I am very interested in health benefits - had to be raw so thought this brand might be a good place to start. Well - what can I say apart from fact I am now totally hooked! I tried the chestnut one first - it is so smooth, dark and delicious - I have roughly 1 tablespoon per day on yoghurt with fruit and chia seeds and often a sneaky dip during the day just because I can! Honestly, I've never tasted anything quite like it - it’s liquid gold - pure nectar of the Gods! I’ve just ordered the Oak as my 2nd choice to try. Highly recommend the Raw Honey Company - fab ethos and great customer service. Just remember to use a wooden spoon when dipping in!

- RICH IN TRACE ELEMENTS, including potassium, magnesium, manganese, and barium. Additionally, tannins (which are a kind of antioxidant) from the chestnut tree and the strong presence of pollen increase its nutritional value. It contains prebiotics which supports gut health. For optimal health benefits from the natural properties of honey, it is recommended to consume one tablespoon of it every morning on an empty stomach.
- CHESTNUT BLOSSOM HONEY is a deliciously malty tasting tree honey made from the nectar of sweet chestnut trees that bloom in the spring, but it can also have a slightly bitter edge, sometimes reminiscent of the aroma from freshly brewed coffee. Its deep, nutty flavour goes best with cheese, such as pecorino, and pears. The beautiful dark brown colour of this honey takes on a reddish hue in the light.

- RAW HONEY NATURALLY CRYSTALLISES over time. Chestnut honey crystallises slowly after 1-2 years. If yours has crystallised and you prefer it runny, place on a radiator and drape a tea towel over it. Leave it overnight (or longer). The heat will not damage the honey, the important thing is that you don't heat the honey beyond 40 degrees (the hive can get this hot in Summer). If the radiators are very hot then put something like a thin book under the jars. It can take up to 2 days to fully liquify.

I’m relatively new to honey and have never been overly excited by it, but I am very interested in health benefits - had to be raw so thought this brand might be a good place to start. Well - what can I say apart from fact I am now totally hooked! I tried the chestnut one first - it is so smooth, dark and delicious - I have roughly 1 tablespoon per day on yoghurt with fruit and chia seeds and often a sneaky dip during the day just because I can! Honestly, I've never tasted anything quite like it - it’s liquid gold - pure nectar of the Gods! I’ve just ordered the Oak as my 2nd choice to try. Highly recommend the Raw Honey Company - fab ethos and great customer service. Just remember to use a wooden spoon when dipping in!

I have been looking for a year for a really great honey that ticks all the boxes . This Antonio’s honey is delicious but also extremely healthy . I have it in soya milk at night and really sleep well I’m looking forward to trying all the others
