The fabric is quite nice, and the eye-catching silver design was a hit with the audience and my company. The fit is a little odd due to the placement of the buttons, however--either there should be more buttons, or the three existing buttons should be closer together. If you leave the bottom button undone (as one traditionally does), it improves things a bit. Likewise, I wouldn't really describe this as a slim-fit waistcoat. That said, fit can be adjusted via the usual slide mechanism in back. Overall, a useful costume piece that would also be good for celebratory gatherings. I had to run it through the washing machine after our gala gig, and it was fine.
