Review: Great bike from a GREAT company - First off, I never write reviews, so that's how much this bike impacted us. My daughter needed a new bike and after lots of searching, we decided that this bike was the winner. The key things that won us over was that it was a coaster brake (pedal backwards to brake) and it had a great seat and was a 3 speed. Of course, the blue color was tops on my daughter's list too. The shock for me was when I received the email from the Beachbikes retailer that my "mint green" bike order was received. After confirming that the wrong color was my mistake (ordered the wrong color) I responded to Beachbike about the error and they immediate replied and said it would not be a problem and I will receive the "baby blue" bike that my daughter wanted so much. True to their word, the blue bike arrived in great condition. It was almost fully assembled with only about 20 minutes of additional assembly and adjustment. My daughter was off in riding and as happy as can be. One of the special things about Beachbikes was the inclusion of a small container of beach sand. This was really cool and speaks to the level of care that goes into the bikes they sell. I receive several emails from the Beachbikes team wanting to make sure that I was completely happy with the bike and offering to answer any additional questions I might have. The truth is that the bike is very well made and hasn't needed anything. But it's nice to know they care and I have someone to reach out to if I need support or have questions. I plan to continue ordering bikes from this company and I highly recommend their products.
Review: Damaged upon arrival, then fixed...great bike! - The bike I ordered arrived damaged. Cracked headset locknut and damaged fork steer tube (see images). There was NO damage to the shipping box, so I believe the damage occurred before packing. The damage prevented me from assembling the bike. I contacted Firmstrong directly via telephone. They were extremely easy to deal with and confirmed to me on the same day that replacement forks and a new locknut would be shipped out immediately. The parts were received yesterday. I completed assembly and my daughter is now thoroughly enjoying her new bike! The bike itself is very nice quality. Assembly is extremely easy. once assembled, the bikes feels solid and rides smooth and effortlessly. I'm a single-speed fan, but my daughter wanted a multi-speed. The twist-shift grip works well. The gear transitions are appropriate. It's a quality bike I would recommend to others. Firmstrong was extremely pleasant to deal with in prompt replacement of damaged components.

First off, I never write reviews, so that's how much this bike impacted us. My daughter needed a new bike and after lots of searching, we decided that this bike was the winner. The key things that won us over was that it was a coaster brake (pedal backwards to brake) and it had a great seat and was a 3 speed. Of course, the blue color was tops on my daughter's list too. The shock for me was when I received the email from the Beachbikes retailer that my "mint green" bike order was received.
