It was inexpensive and I thought that I would replace it while replacing the fan. Before I got it installed, the refrigerator stopped working. It turned out that the old defrosting element had gone out and ice buildup was causing the fan noise. I installed this defrosting element and a new fan and the refrigerator works perfectly now.It turned out to be fairly easy to install the parts and there are a lot of good YouTube videos showing you how to do it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good part *by on Reviewed in Canada 5 August 2024* 3 times cheaper than local seller, and works well. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product *by on Reviewed in the United States 19 November 2024* Great price and works well. Local repair shop wanted almost $100 just for this part. ## Frequently Bought Together - ATMA SUPPLY DA47-00244U Refrigerator Defrost Heater Compatible with Samsung Replaces PS9603659 AP5914487 3955643 - 2024 Upgraded OEM DA81-06013A U92C12MS1B3-52 DA31-00287A Refrigerator Evaporator Fan Motor for Samsung, Compatible with Samsung: RF28HMEDBSR/AA RF28HFEDTSR/AA, RF26HFENDSL/AA, etc - Repairwares Refrigerator Temperature Sensor DA32-10104N DA32-10104V 2030330 AP4979323 PS4138666 for Select Samsung Models --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/498193248-atma-supply-da47-00244u-refrigerator-defrost-heater-compatible-with-samsung](https://www.desertcart.us/products/498193248-atma-supply-da47-00244u-refrigerator-defrost-heater-compatible-with-samsung) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-15*
