Do I need to set the humidity level? before hacking how do I know how often to refill the water?** A: I would buy a separate hygrometer, that way you can measure the temp and humidity in the machine. This is what I did, I had a hard time with the water dispenser. I had to place it on a little platform for the water to even come out. Check google for how much humidity you need for the breed of egg you are hatching. Duck eggs require a bit more humidity than chicken eggs. You can also look on backyard chicken websites or facebook groups for better advice.
