Review: Solid performer & very easy to install - Easy to install and a solid performer. Provides enough power for my 2 Ring doorbells & my old doorbell chime inside. A little larger than I expected. I had to screw it to the rafter next to the electrical box & run a wire to the box instead of just inserting it into the bow with a lock washer.
Review: Did the job and fairly easy to install. - Works great to upgrade older doorbell transformers when installing new video doorbells. FYI for DIY will require electrical so if you're hands on should be a breeze, otherwise call your electrician.

**Q: My transformer is broken, is this a good replacement? Can it be used with SimpliSafe Doorbell Cam?**
A: It's ok, it's perfect together

**Q: Do I need to cut off the power when installing the transformer?**
A: technically yes, as the main wires from the house are hot.  I didn't.  I just replaced one wire at a time when replacing the old transformer so there was only ever one house wire exposed at a time.  Worked great.

**Q: Will the doorbell transformer make a lot of noise when it is working?**
A: There is no hum or transformer noise and it’s been running for 2 months
