However, it came off my wrist several times, as one of the spindles which hold the strap to the watch, came out. Fortunately, the watch was held by my shirt sleeve. If I had been wearing a short-sleeve shirt or a T-shirt, I might have lost or damaged the watch. The spindles supposedly have the advantage of being easy fit and easy release due to a little lever to one of the sprung ends. This, though, proved to be a disadvantage when it came to removing the spindle, since it made it very difficult to put the spindle through and out. Once I did have it out, I measured it against the spindles from my old strap. It was about 0.5 mm shorter, a critical difference since the holes in the watch brackets which the spindles fit into are very shallow. The new spindle on the other end of the strap was fine. I have now replaced the badly made spindle with one from my old strap. Thank goodness I kept it. The strap is fine now.
