When first sprayed, the jasmine takes center stage - bright, floral, and fresh. On the dry down, the cashmere gives a bit of grounding and playful warmth, not overwhelming. It’s a little sweet! I would like to preface by saying I’m fully aware Alien is NOT a gourmand in the traditional sense. However, I find that this fragrance gives what gourmand scents SHOULD give but don’t on me, because gourmands typically don’t work with my skin chemistry. If you’re not into gourmands but want something that gives the same comforting yet whimsical feeling, then this is a good choice/alternative. It’s feminine and bright at the beginning, comforting in the dry down. Mysterious, but not dark. Sweet but definitely NOT sugary. It’s probably gonna be my 2026 signature scent. Btw this is the only other fragrance I own (aside from Michael Kors Sparkling Blush) that I’ve actually gotten complimented on while out and about my day!
