Review: get them! - I really like these! I have a lot of tealights that I like to use around the house but I got these since I am constantly using up matches or misplace them. I also wanted a flameless alternative since I accidentally burned a hole in my vinyl bathtub... oops. I got the warm ivory ones. The light is cozy, they look and feel great, the light isn't dim, it does flicker slightly to imitate a flame but my favorite feature is the child proofing on it. There's a tab you have you press and hold down while twisting the lid in order to get the button battery out. I would still be careful with these around littles, but the added safety feature is a huge bonus for me.

**Q: Do you need to unscrew the bottom of candle in order to change the battery?**
A: You do not need any tools to change the battery. There’s a plastic tab you can open with your finger in the bottom. Each candle uses a single CR2032 coin cell battery.

**Q: if I use 20 of these (on tables) in a room...is the flickering going to be too much?**
A: Well, think of 20 real votive candles flickering in the same room - if that would be too much then maybe this would be too, but I don't think so.  You could also always use less candles!

**Q: Do they come with batteries?**
A: Yes, but all of the ones I received were already dead. Now,  I have to buy fresh batteries snd open each one to replace them.

**Q: Are these wax or plastic?**
A: Hi Mary, they are plastic but look like wax.
