I was wrestling it though 18mm ply with burn marks, smoke in the garage and impossible to hold it on the cut line. Ordered the Evolution blade mostly because it was one of a few that was exactly the right size for my circular saw. Very pleased. Cuts very cleanly and quickly. I've already done quite a bi of cutting with it and I haven't noticed it cutting more slowly or less cleanly. Note the kerf (cut width) is so thin I had to remove the rear riving knife behind the blade which was thicker than the cut kerf. But I don't class that as a negative (just fiddly to do). Thin kerf means more accurate cutting and less waste. Can the Evolution fit mine.** A: The bore is deliberately a bastard size because evolution saws turn much more slowly than normal saws, due to the blade design. If you put it on a faster saw it would ruin the blade very quickly. **Q: Whats the difference between the F255tct and the R255tct?** A: F is for fury and R is for rage the differemce is the number of teeth fury 24T and rage 28T I find fury better for steel but Rage cleaner cut on wood **Q: can you tell me the bore size of this blade** A: Apologies for delay in reply, I have just got back from a trip. Bore is 25.4 mm or 1 inch. Seems to be an odd size, I have only found one other, a 'cheapie', which Amazon replies said is not good. I always use Fury blades, I use one for metal and keep another just for wood. Drawback is that you cannot cut rebates on the table saw, which is why I have searched for another 25.4 blade, or a step down reducing washer. Hope this helps. On the whole they are good machines for the price. **Q: Whats the thickest solid steel bar can this cut?** A: I cut a chuck of steel about 8cm square without realising it.
