I have used a 24oz Estwing for years and needed something a little lighter for finish work. I tried another brand of 16oz hammer which the balance was all over the place and resulting in bending every nail. I never realised how the balance of a hammer could affect this as my first hammer was an Estwing. I found this one online and the price was the best around so I purchased it.
