They don’t bother me, I keep them in overnight and at certain angles it can poke, but not sharp like a normal earring I just adjust my head and it’s fine. A flat back stud is most comfortable, but I can’t stand them it’s hard to put in and you need to get the tension right. So compared to alternatives this is a perfect medium for me. It’s so much better than a traditional backing and it’s secure I’ve NEVER had them fall out. I have worn it through showers, sweat, and ocean or murky water. Through chlorine. It’s tough! Afterwards I do rinse off to try and keep them in good shape I don’t leave it that way. I also don’t use a lot of hair product so I don’t worry about that.The only small negative is that been 6 months since purchase and the metal has gotten more matte and less shiny but you can hardly see that, and I rarely take them out besides for gentle cleaning with water. The titanium appears a tad darker. I honestly think this is fair and reasonable for the price though, it still looks great and I get compliments, but it’s just something I notice.I would still buy them again I’m thinking of another pair especially considering this was daily use it held up well. Just always do it over a wide bowl when changing small earrings.
