It's also suitable for cleaning other hard floors such as laminate, vinyl and LVT. The water based, Greenguard certified formulation is safe to use around your family and pets. To clean oiled wood floors please choose Bona Wood Floor Cleaner for Oiled Floors instead. **Q: I have engineered wood flooring but in places the varnish finish has worn off. Is it ok to use ?**

Thank you for your query.

The Bona Wood Floor cleaner is designed for use on sealed floors. Unfortunately if the varnish on your floor is exposing bare wood, this floor is no longer entirely sealed and therefore our cleaners would be unsuitable to use.

**Q: I have oak laminate flooring of which I do not want a shine on the surface just a soft sheen would this be suitable,and also could I apply with cloth**
A: I use this on my varnished parquet flooring and a laminate wooden flooring. I use the bona mop to do it and it does not leave a shine on the surface and the flooring appears the same only cleaner.  It has no fragrance.  I guess it could be applied with a cloth.  Spray the floor surface and mop with the cloth.  The mope head is really flexible to move around and the mop is detachable and washable.  Hope this helps.

**Q: How far does the 1L bottle go?  I have a 16ft by 12ft lounge**

Unfortunately, it is hard to give you specific guidelines as its dependant on how dirty the floor is, as to how much you will need to use, as a very rough estimate you should get several cleans of that size floor with the 1L Spray.

**Q: Can this be used on oiled floors? Some comments advise it can't be but description on here says you can?**

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good everyday wood floor cleaner but does not replace a thorough and regular clean with OSMO wash and Clean. Recommended

Excellent daily wood cleaner. Really lifts dirt and dries quickly but does not leave a polished sheen that can be achieved with more thorough cleaning. Recommended. Pros Easy to use; just spray on and mop clean. Dries very quickly. Excellent at removing dirt caused by our large golden retriever and general foot fall. Good and quick to use as a daily cleaner. Cons I find it doesn't polish up as well as the OSMO wash which I use once a week for a thorough clean. It doesn't lay down a protective surface like the OSMO cleaner which reduces marking more effectively.
