**Q: Question for trufflehunter: what exactly is truffle flavour listed in the ingredients?**
A: It is an artificial chemical that has nothing to do with truffles, made in petrochemical labs. It is not truffle and that’s 99% of the flavour any of this company’s products comes from. The truffles they use are summer truffles which are of zero culinary value and they illegally call them ‘black truffles’. Black truffles normally wholesale at £800-900 per kg so what they’re selling you is a chemical not a truffle. Be careful and read the labels carefully.

A: Our products are taste tested by a panel each week. The panel consists of myself (Managing Director) and my key staff (including Chef's).
 
The statement that we do not taste our oils is ridiculous, we would never has suggested that. Not only do we taste all of our products in-house to ensure they are of the highest quality, we have external taste panels such as the 'Guild of Fine Foods' who have been awarding us with 'Great Taste Awards' since 2012.
