The 'T' shaped handle is a good feature as it makes then usable as walking sticks (after shortening) from being used as walking poles.The suspension system in the poles is smooth, progressive, has long travel and is noise-free.The lower/inner poles are graduated and scaled for length and length adjustment is simple.Make sure you check for tightness periodically as all these types of poles work loose with use.The wrist loop length adjustment is easy and simple, so changing from bare hands to gloves with suitable length change in the wrist loops is quite fast and secure. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent functionality, but not perfect *by M***4 on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 February 2018* Great walking poles or walking sticks. They’re not too heavy despite being made from aluminum rather than carbon fiber and the length is easily adjusted. The is something about junior poles printed on the colored part of the shaft. The two poles are obviously different lengths. There is just over 1cm between them and if you adjust them to the ‘same length’ on the scale, they are actually different lengths. The springs are firm so that the poles don’t accidentally compress until significant load is applied. The handles are comfortable. The straps can be completely removed so that they don’t flap around. The poles don’t telescope inadvertently when you need to rely on them.
