I know there are reviews that say these pellets are no good for smokers but we have had no issues at all. We are using a Traeger and things are just so simple. Set to smoke and when the smoker primes and ignites, set the temperature. At temperature just cook. Seriously good and had no real issues with flavour. We will be buying these again. I gave these 4 stars because of poor packaging. The sack of pellets (heavy) was just placed into a cardboard box.
