Or should I say, my dog LOVES it. My dog will happily get in the car, assuming she's headed for a fun time at the park. But after 20-30 minutes, she's whimpering - the dog version of a little kid's "Are we there yet?" whine. She wants to be in my lap the entire time, so she can see out the window. Yesterday we drove 40 minutes each way and she was content in her chair. A couple of times, she wanted to venture over into my lap, but after the first time she did so, she decided it was more comfy in her chair. It lifts her up so she can see out the window. It keeps her from sliding all over on the leather car seats. The lining of this seat is soft and warm; she fell asleep on the drive home and didn't want to get out of the seat. She let me get out and carry things into the house and didn't move! It's too early to judge how sturdy it is, but even if I have to buy a new one every year, it's worth it. PROS: - Super comfy. - Keeps dog from sliding about or falling off the car seat during stops/starts/turns. - Handy pockets on the sides of the seat. - Easy to put together, easy to install in the car. - VALUE - well worth the price. - The sides of the seat not only keep the dog safe in place, but provide head rests. - Easy for the dog to get in and out of the seat because the sides are soft and not excessively high. CONS: - None that I've discovered so far. Saw a wise warning in another review about NOT attaching the lead in the seat to a dog's collar. To use the lead, the dog should be wearing a harness.
