Very high quality castings and extrusions. Sturdy, adjustable, works very well for reading books in a chair. It looks much more expensive than it is. There are limits to adjustability because the base is very large. It assures stability but can get in the way, depending on use. While very sturdy, it comes at the price of ease of certain (height) adjustability. A price one pays for it's excellent rigidity. Very pleased with functionality, very easy to assemble. Recommended.

Item ok so far. The assembly was fine except one screw was missing in the packaging and had to go purchase one. I will have to figure out how to counterbalance the bottom because it started to tip over a couple times. My fault for not noticing when I moved the platform out of the way when I got up from chair. Overall I think the stand is well made with quality parts. I highly recommend this stand for those looking for a reading stand that is sturdy and can be moved out of the way when not needed.
