You will also need a good cam software package to make the code to do the engraving. Een uitstekende machine, makkelijk te monteren en (na enig inleeswerk) makkelijk te bedienen. Ik gebruik de CNC voor het maken van klokken: van de tandwielen tot de frames. Dit deed ik eerst met een electrische figuurzaag maar met deze CNC gaat het veel nauwkeuriger en sneller. Daardoor kan ik meer tijd besteden aan het ontwerp. Vooralsnog grotendeels met hout gewerkt maar recent ook met acrylglas. Machine is nauwkeurig, bijna onderhoudsvrij (af en toe even smeren) en heeft een mooi werkbereik. Sainsmart heeft een goede klantenservice voor zowel technische vragen als aftersales. Mijn Z-probe werkte niet meer en ik kreeg gratis een nieuwe toegestuurd.
