They fit well and the sizing was perfect. He has a wide foot, so it was nice that these came in a wide width. The price was great. **Q: Are the insoles removable?**
A: The insoles are attached at the heel only but could easily be removed.  I remove them and use orthopedic inserts for plantar fasciitis.

**Q: Are they waterproof**
A: I have worn them in the rain and my feet stayed dry. I don't know if they are "waterproof"per se, but I've played a couple of times in the rain and my feet stayed dry.

**Q: If you've ever owned vinyl shoes (i have) you'd know exactly what it means, "do they breathe?"**
A: I have owned vinyl shoes and I would say that these are no different. Still, they are pretty comfortable to walk 18 on a par 3. Once I break them in, it’ll be perfect for me a once a month hack.

**Q: How to clean these shoes?**
A: I generally use a soft brush with some soapy water. Use the same brush with clean water and dry them with a towel.
