It is very difficult to work the muscles under the chin and Facial-Flex works abut 30 muscles from under the eyes to the base of the neck. I am a yoga practitioner since 30 years and as we say in yoga : "Visualize" the muscles under you chin and make them work in depth while you exercise with your Facial-Flex. Do not work toot fast : it is holding the contractions, muscles very tight for 2 seconds that give the best result. Also be patient : it is gym and gym is 100 % natural. Facial gymnastics if done properly (read the Questions and Answers inside the box and on my web site), does not create or aggravate lines. But it does not erase lines either. Lines affect the skin. They are due to ageing, exposure to the sun, smoking habits and a lack of hormones. Facial-Flex has nothing to do with the skin. Its purpose is to work the muscles under the skin. It is the contractions against the resistance of the device that are going to tone (or shorten) the facial muscles to trim and tone your face. As the facial muscles become firmer, lines can be slightly improved but unfortunately, they will not disappear. Rosemary Conley is 70. I am 71. It does work - IF YOU WORK IT. I am 51 and it has taken about 8 years off my face to date - with more results to come. To get any real change it needs to be used for the length of time I have been using it for (and for the rest of my life if I want to get even more toned facial and neck muscles) and NOT for the few months it says it will take to see results. Don't expect quick fixes because you will be disappointed. Think long term and commit every day to working it for about 10 minutes - not the few minutes it says to do - and you WILL see gradual (slow but sure) results in time. My only criticism is the packaging it comes in. Considering the item is £44, you would think the makers would have respected buyers more by making a decent carrier box which is too small for the item and contains cheap plastic meaning the device keeps popping out of it. You end up having to fight with the box each time you use it to ensure the lid closes.
